A Waterford based male sued An Garda Siochana after an incident in the town during which he was arrested and handcuffed. He claimed that he suffered injuries to his wrists and now suffers from depression which has restricted his ability to work as a Taxi Driver. He stated he now has to work reduced hours and as such his income had been affected. Surveillance proved this to be an exaggeration as he was observed working on a daily basis and for more than eight hours each day.
