A holidaymaker upon returning from a two week vacation to Greece decided to make a claim on their holiday insurance policy. They stated a high value video camcorder and camera had been stolen from the beach whilst they were swimming in the sea.
Ryan Ireland visited the claimant on behalf of the insurance company and interviewed them about the circumstances surrounding the incident which uncovered a number of inconsistencies between the claimant’s version of events and the Police report which we had obtained. These discrepancies were pointed out to the claimant who withdrew the claim the following day.
